Top 4 Safest Destinations I've Been To For A Solo Female Traveler
4. Prague, Czech Republic
3. Düsseldorf, Germany
One of the best places to party in Germany is also a safe place to be. During the day, you will see lots and lots of people. You just have to take care of your belongings (as you do in all the other places you go to anyway) and walk with confidence and security because there are many police officers roaming around the city and IF something happens, they can be reached pretty fast too. Düsseldorf is a fun place to be, especially at night, and that's the time I would recommend you to be more careful. It is safe, yes, but we will never know when bad things happen right? Taking the metro would be safer here than in Prague and that I can assure you! So when you want to party in Düsseldorf, it would not be a problem!
2. Brussels, Belgium
I walked around the city center of Brussels for over 9 hours and did not encounter a single problem during the whole duration. The people were very friendly and I felt safe walking around there. As usual, police offers are scattered around the city and with that, I felt even better. So, if you want to walk around Brussels like I did, then you will be totally fine. I also met one girl at the hostel and she was a solo backpacker and she found Brussels a safe place, as well. So as a solo female traveler, I highly recommend putting Brussels, Belgium in one of your destinations!
1. Warsaw, Poland
Ah, my favorite! In addition to loving the place so much because of its people and architecture, I also found Warsaw to be a safe city! I had so much fun there and met very nice locals who were more than happy to show me around. There are literally taxis everywhere and a taxi ride there is super cheap so I had no problem with riding taxis all around Warsaw, from the hostel to wherever my destination was. I, also, walked so much and I was very comfortable in doing this. I did not have the feeling that someone would steal my things or doing something very irresponsible to me (although we should be cautious). My number 1 recommendation goes to Warsaw. Not only will you feel secure but you'll also love it there too, I promise!
